Changing the World One Life at a Time

about TBA

Tenkiller Baptist Assembly exists to change the world, one life at a time.

TBA sits on 117 acres of beautiful rolling hills just minutes from the sparkling waters of Lake Tenkiller. Founded in the 1990's, TBA has grown from a two-week association campground into a year-round ministry serving Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, and Texas. With eight cabins ranging in sixe from 90 beds to 25 beds (422 beds total), a new dining hall, and an outdoor tabernacle overlooking the creek and rec fields below. The setting for worship and fellowship are unmatched in the area. A newly finished hiking trail cuts through a grove of Eastern Red Cedar trees that goes from "the landmines" (a rock-filled lot near the air rifle range) to Haden springs, a beautiful natural spring that empties into Cross Creek near Tenkiller House.

Our dining hall sears 180 and is equipped with a commercial kitchen, dishwasher, pantry and full beverage service (tea, coffee, and a soda fountain serving Coca-Cola products).
The dining hall also features an intimate performance area for indoor worship services, conference, or seminars for groups of 150 or less.

We can accommodate groups of all sizes and ages for events such as retreats, reunions, conferences, and camps. We also gladly welcome volunteer groups any time of the year, and our cabin owners are always gracious to provide lodging at little to no cost; all you do is bring your food!

TBA has a wooded air rifle range, an archery range, a 250-foot zipline through the trees, swimming at Elk Creek (less than a mile away), and canoeing on the Illinois River and Lake Tenkiller. We also have a lighted volleyball/ basketball/ human foosball complex on the Camp Square. Our concession stand is open during rec time and each evening. We also have a hiking trail that winds though a beautiful wooded area past gorgeous creeks and Hayden Springs, a natural spring that empties into Cross Creek near the camp director's home. There are also four fire pits that you can use to end your day with some s'mores and stargazing.
